Hop on Hop off Wine Tours - Queenstown

COVID Update 12 August 2020

We have added some extra information due to Covid-19. Bookings are now required at certain places. Please read below:

1/ At present you will need to be aware of social distancing at all times (even in the buses)
2/ We strongly recommend you book lunch on the 12.55pm departure as the next bus comes past 1hour 15minutes later; plenty of time to eat.
3/ If you want to go to Kinross, please book directly with them, regardless of group size, as they are undergoing renovations.
4/ We do not provide itineraries, these must be done by yourself, so please pre-book where necessary.
5/ We recommend 4 to 5 stops on our full day tour and 3 to 4 stops on our half day tours. We have provided phone numbers for you to pre-book your day.
6/ Buses only leave from Queenstown at 10.30am on the Full Day Tour and at 12.55pm on the Half Day Tour. At present due to COVID and the lower volumes of visitors we are not coming into central Queenstown at the other two times unless pre-organised.
7/ Your tour start time is noted on your ticket confirmation. You can't change the start time unless otherwise stated.

StrikeBowl is the hub of entertainment in Queenstown. This 7 lane tenpin bowling alley is a fun and joyful experience.

Cargo at Gantleys (03 342 82569)

Bookings Suggested. Open daily 7.00am-9.00pm.
Open for coffee, beer or wine in the morning with their tap room menu  Cargo at Gantleys with their wonderful beer garden which opens at 1.00pm.

Gibbston Valley Cheese (03 441 1388) 
Bookings recommended. Tastings of wine & beer.
They are now in Arrowtown and normally $20 now $15 for a wine or beer and with your favourite cheeses tasting.

Bookings Required. Wine tastings at 11.00am. Akaura  Wines and Kitchen by Artisan  is one of Queenstown’s  premier winery restaurants. A beautiful place to relax and have brunch or lunch.

Hop on Hop off Wine Tours run in conjunction with the daytime Hop on Hop off Beer Tours which means wine lovers travel with beer buffs in our buses. 

Main pickup point: The Station Information Centre, Corner of Camp St and Shotover St, 25 Shotover Street, Queenstown

There are several other pick-up points around Queenstown, Frankton and Arrowntown. Please check the map and timetable for details and be sure to advise us at the time of reservation.
